Almost Scammed. Nigerian scam

I almost Bought into this person's scam, they told me they wanted to buy this Iteam for there son Overseas and that they needed a tracking number, I received e-mails that confirmed that the money was pending, but when I looked at my paypal account nothing showed up, I looked into it and found out it was a phishing scam, here are some of the details of there scam.

"Hi,
 Thanks for  response,well i'm interested in buying your items  for my
son,i really want the items to be a surprise gift for him so i won't
let him know anything about the items until it get delivered to him in
overseas , i am sure he will be more than happy with the items. i have
to pay you via paypal  as I have my bank account attached to it, i
will need you to give me your PayPal email address so i can make the
payment as soon as possible for the items and i will be offering you
$350 so i can make the best offer for you on this items and will also
include $150 for shipping the item to him in overseas. so kindly get
back to me asap"

I said I would rather have the money in person, and that I didnt have a paypal account.

i would have also come and do this on face to face transaction but as
a marine engineer and due to the nature of my work locations and
stations,phone calls hardly go through I would have loved to call, so
am so sorry about that nd tht is why am looking for an honest seller
that a going to make a good offer on his item and also include the
shipping cost to my son. get an account from paypal and let me know
they do secure an online transaction and secure both 2 parties on it.
just log on to ??????? andf sign up for them and i will be
looking forward to your mail as soon as you have this done.

I agreed and said that I will mail it. and then received this! and two others supposedly confiming the pay pal payment

I almost Mailed it to the address, but I told them I didnt receive any confirmation on paypal, and said I needed the money first. ..... I then looked into it and found out it was a scam, so I told them to bug off, and havent received anything since,   PLEASE WATCH OUT FOR THESE PEOPLE!!!   they are very crafty and will fool you, if they dont say your full name, or if it seems odd, or if they offer you more money then your asking, ity is probably a  PSHING SCAM!!||

I am also having the same problem.. this is what  my email i receieve from the guy whos buying an item from me... I am not sure if this is a legit email or not and i've been trying to get a hold of pay pal for the past day, so they can confirmed their email with me.  The guy whos buying this item from me said he couldn't meet up due to a business call and that he wanted me to send it to nigeria for his son and offered me 495. offered me 195 extra for shipping and handleing. All i've been recieveing is emails from  service paypal. and have been recieveing the same email and apparently their giving me 8 hrs to send or i'll be charged with fraud. e
