To scam you, so don’t do it. They’ll somehow pretend to be you and have customer service open a fraudulent dispute and close it so you can’t or have difficulty in lodging a dispute. Congrats on having your scamdar on and asking someone. 👍

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂

Wish I'd seen this before I'd fallen for it, it happened exactly like you said.

Any recourse for after they filed their fake disputes?

This happened to me also. I sent what I was told was a refundable deposit for an appointment that was required before viewing it. Now they won’t respond when I ask the to return the money.

What happens if you DONT send the screenshot?

Can you message the paypal account that they had you send $$ to and get them to cancel? I can't cancel on my end.
The $$ has NOT come out of my bank account. Is the account sent to even real?
So many questions!

What should I do if I sent a screenshot of payment? Seemed an odd request and hadn't ever had anyone ask, but did it without thinking much because it didn't have my account info...
