My account was restricted by PayPal according to them was due to sexually oriented materials however that is baseless and not true. I have emailed deactivationqueries numerous times asking for more details as to why they restricted my account and also what I can do to lift it however I haven't received a response after having so many emails sent to them. Really lousy customer service. Now I just want to retrieve my funds and close my account on PayPal. The resolution center is also **bleep**, didn't help me with resolving this that's why I was forced to ask the community. Any help please? Thank you

Sadly you can't close a permanently limited account. Paypal limits it to stop you removing anything from it.
They don't want you to be able to use anything linked to it to try and open another Paypal account.
Normally you can't appeal a permanent limitation however if you want to try.......
Contact options for each countries Paypal customer services are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.
1. Paypal phones (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, (during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out).
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a private direct message via Social Media on Facebook, Twitter/X, or Instagram pages.

Hello @Stacyl76,
Welcome to the PayPal Community!
I'm sorry to hear that your PayPal account has been blocked. It sounds like your account may have been limited. If that's the case, I recommend visiting this Help Center article for some of the most common reasons limitations are placed. To learn how to lift a limitation, please visit this article. However, if you were notified it was limited permanently, the limitation likely cannot be lifted. However, you can request a second opinion by contacting Customer Support.
I hope this helps!
