Scam app called Fabulous

I canceled my trial with them the day I got it, but they still charged me $41.99 right after my subscription was canceled the same day. I’ve reached out with no response—this feels like a scam. I’ve looked into this more and numerous people are being falsely charged by this app and left with no response. Is there anything we can do about this? I disputed the charger with PayPal, but it isn’t going well.

Check if you had a subscription set up and cancel it?
Click on the profile / settings tab (icon next to log out) > Click on payments third option along on the thick blue band top of page > "manage pre-approved payments.''

I have already done that. I cancelled my subscription the day I got it, but still got charged. I’m worried I will not be refunded. 42$ is A lot of money for a student and I’m worried they have my card information now. And they won’t respond to me at all.

Urgh I had the exact same issue, on the same day too, and was charged like 80 euro for "set-up fees" - that's what they called the fee when I complained. It was also within the trial period and I deleted the subscription before I even downloaded the app (which didnt even download). It also seems extra frausulent because I didnt even susbcribe via Fabulous, but they have another app called Clarify. I'm going to start a Paypal dispute, so maybe if more people have this issue we'll do better! One thing is for sure, they can't advertise a free trial period and then have hidden costs. Never once did they mention an "initial set-up fee". Surely even if it's hidden in the terms and conditions that's fraudulent as they are deliberately trying to hide it from customers. It's a trick.
