Permanently Limited Account

Hello, so I’m a new user from Indonesia and is trying to figure out PayPal, for international transactions. So I made an account and figured out shipping, and yesterday my account was limited. I gave my information as it was asked, but now I’m permanently limited?? I don’t understand what I did wrong, and is there anyway to reverse this? Or resolve the issue? P.S, I sell TCG cards, so nothing supposedly illegal? I’m genuinely baffled what raised my accounts “suspicions”…

Shradha, I already called the customer service hotline, but your client care support name Cherrie said that I can’t do anything about it, the fact that im just asking for a reason why I have been restricted, and my client just paying my salary as Virtual Assistant. Why you will say that it cant be revoke? And why you just give us lame excuses that its confidential thats why you cant give us the reason why we have been restricted. I have been your client for a decade now, and this is just i got in return?

Paypal cut off my features saying I was selling sexually-oriented products. This is untrue. I am selling online training for exams. How can Paypal make such error when my transactions are very clear on my account? How do I clear such matter when there is no button to click in the Resolution Center?

This is totally unfair. They will hold our money after a permanent ban, and they won’t even tell us the reason. We should report this.

I contacted Paypal to find out why I was permanently restricted, but they couldn’t provide a clear reason. They mentioned it might be related to selling inappropriate services, as I only provide virtual services. I’ve been using PayPal for 10 years, but unfortunately, they can’t reverse the decision since the restriction is permanent. But what i am asking is the reason why I have been restricted?

Paypal does not give you an actual reason or information beyond what would have been provided to you in a notification and/or email. Any further information would not be available due to security concerns.......in other words they do not give you an exact reason, they just direct you to the user agreement or acceptable use policy. I guess having a reason wouldn't make any difference if they have permanently banned you.

Oh, so you’re saying PayPal can ban anyone they want without giving their clients a concrete reason because of 'confidentiality'? It’s like convicting and imprisoning someone without telling them why, and only vaguely accusing them of selling something. PayPal is used solely for payroll purposes. This feels like a scam, especially since you hold the money after placing a permanent limitation on the account. Is that right? We need a clear reason so this issue can be resolved. It’s unfair to leave it at that. If not addressed, I will report this to the appropriate authorities such as the Better Business Bureau (BBB), the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) for a review of your systems.
