My account has been permanently restricted due to a document verification problem. My birth is in 2001, and I submitted my Aadhaar card (a legal government document in India) as proof. Despite the date being clearly visible, PayPal restricted my account, stating that I’m under 18.
I don’t want my card or account number to remain linked with PayPal. Has anyone else faced a similar issue? Should I request for account reactivation, or is it better to close the account permanently and have all my details deleted?

Firstly try appealing if you were actually over 18 when you opened the account.

Secondly you can't open another account if you have x1 that is permanently limited or close it, paypal limits it to stop you removing anything and trying to open a new account.

Kudos / Solution appreciated.
