My account was hacked and they caused a permanent limitation. How do I get access back?

My account was hacked last week and changed from a personal account to a business account, whatever they did they got a permanent limit on my account. I called support and they opened a case which was closed in my favour as the account was clearly hacked with additional devices and accounts added and transactions completed. However my account still has the deactivation limit and is still a business account, I try to message for support in my account but 2 minutes later I always get the generic message back saying its final. Is there any way I can get my account back or will it forever be cancelled . I have used pay pal for over a decade and have never had any problems until this hack.  I would hate to lose PayPal access forever as I use it all the time

If paypal thought that the hacked account was caused by a lack of security on your side or something you can done then they may not want to continue having you as a customer in the future.

HOWEVER have you asked them if you can open a new account if that one has to remain limited?
