My account is restricted, but the documents required to unrestrict it do not exist.

Hi guys,

At one point my account was restricted and for the past few years I've been trying to unrestrict it to no avail. I am at my wit's end and am just trying anything now, so I thought I'd ask the community.

It tells me that I need to 'Provide some more info' specifically verification of my home address, and it asks for either my utility bill (I don't pay the bills in my household so I don't have this), council rates (Also don't receive), tax return/assessment, bank statement, or centrelink statement (I'm not with centrelink).

Naturally, this is problematic, as I'm left with giving them either my tax return statement or my bank statement, two pieces of private information I am far from comfortable giving to this company, alas I am out of options.

I have attempted to use my bank statement to verify, however my statement's are addressed to my PO box and not my home address, rendering it useless for this purpose and it's likely that the same problem will be apparent for my tax statement, though I have not managed to acquire it yet.

So what on earth can I do? I am backed into a corner at this point, and just want any suggestions for how to get out. I can't even just close the account, because I have this outstanding issue.

Sorry but paypal have to confirm your I.D on occasions as per link.

If you don't have that information OR don't want to provide it then unfortunately that is not Paypals fault and your account would stay limited until you did or could provide it.
