Is Actitech Ltd linked to a fitness app?

Does anyone know who Actitech are and why they took unauthorised money from my Paypal? Is it possibly a yoga/fitness app I purchased for half the amount (to trial it)and now they are just taking money automatically?!

The same thing happened to me. As soon as I signed up for the trial, as I usually do, I then cancelled the trial so as not to be billed if I forgot about it. As there was no cancellation button I emailed customer support. They replied saying that I had to log into my account to cancel. As I had immediately tried to cancel after downloading the app I hadn't had a chance to go into the app and set up a profile. Due to this, I emailed customer support again saying I could cancel in the app via my profile as I hadn't created one. They never replied and have now taken 4 payments: £3[Removed. Phone #s not permitted]00. I have sent screenshots of all the information I have but PayPal has cancelled the dispute refund. What options do I have now I tried the only option Actitech gave me to cancel but didn't respond to my emails promptly and continued taking payments. I have now cancelled any future payments via my bank.

I did a trial and canceled they slammed my account with over $120 in charges in several days after cancellation. I disputed the charges, my bank sent me a new debit, card and they still hit my account

I purchased a 1 Week trial and ended up being charged for 12 weeks without my approval. I hope I will get a refund but from what I read the chances are not in my favour. 😞. I sure hope PayPal will exclude all the scammers based on public opinion and statements so that we cand really make online purchasing safer.

A lot of times what happens is people accept a free trial for a product and forget to cancel or do a survey and don't 'untick' a box to not subscribe. As a buyer you must agree to a billing agreement/subscription before a merchant can take a payment from your PayPal account.

If you don't notice during checkout OR don't cancel then it auto renews. Be careful what you are accepting.

Check if you had a subscription set up and cancel it?
Click on the profile tab (icon next to log out) > Click on payments third option along on the thick blue band top of page > "manage pre-approved payments.''

Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

I signed up and paid for a fitness app. I did not see that it was a trial. I thought it was a one time fee. The next month they took twice that amount out of my account and when I tried to cancel it they charged me another $20 to cancel. What a scam.
