I got my PayPal account limited because i lie about age.

Hi everyone, i was create a Paypal account but i lie about age. I upload my National ID and they know that i was underage. I want to ask is there any change that i can create a new one once i turn 18 ? I didnt do any illegal thing on this account. Thank you

Paypal does not allow account holders under the age of 18.

PayPal asks for a birth date when you register so whilst you can make a PayPal account with false information the account will need to be verified to accept funds into your balance or lift any limits.

As you would be unable to verify your account it would be permanently locked for further use.

You would never be able to use that illegally opened underage account again but once 18 Paypal may allow you to open a new account. Opening a new account is not guaranteed as you have already broken their rules once so you would need to ask customer services beforehand.

I got their email said that i can create a new one when i turn 18. Can i use the old information to make a new account ? i read other post about underage and it seem like i need a new email. Thanks a lot dude for taking your time to answer.

Unfortunately you would not be able to use anything linked to that limited paypal account so yes you would need a new email addy etc.
