I got Scammed !! Transaction not showing on my historical payments.

I trusted that sending money via goods and services will protect me in case of any scams.

I issued the payment after receiving sellers invoice. Once the payment was issued using my PayPal account I couldn't see the payment on my history.
After a few days of the seller not responding I decided to open a claim, PayPal was able to locate the payment by the amount and date.
The seller never provided a tracking or updates. I also discovered that the seller was banned by the administrator of the website we are dealing.

Did you escalate to a claim and did you get a refund?

PayPal is still reviewing the case , the agent mention at least 3-4 more days before if can be escalated.

No, Paypal does not give you a time to escalate, as soon as you get the option to escalate you can do so up to 20 days post opening the dispute.

If you don't escalate by the latest date paypal gives you to escalate then the dispute will AUTO CLOSE.

I'm being told over and over again by Paypal agents that they need to wait until the reviewing process is completed.

I really feel hopeless.

Also I'm not  able to see the dispute on my account, it shows as if the transaction was done outside my PayPal account which it is not the case. I have to call in to be able to get information.

Ok then sounds as if you paid as a guest buyer?

If so then did paypal open the claim for you?

If so then yes wait for the review.

That's the tricky part. The invoice was paid with my PayPal account using my credit card on file, however the scammer manage to go around this and the transaction doesn't show on my history, which shows big flaws on PayPal's security.
