So my brother and I go saved our money to buy a gift card (Visa). It was 20$, so we spliced it in half so we would each buy whatever we want (online of course), 10/10. You see, whenever we do microtransactions with a gift card, we continue as a guest so we don't have to get on the mess of making an account, since we're under 18. We usually spend our money on a game called Genshin Impact, which allows you to use a guest account. While my brother payed on Genshin, I wanted to buy other games instead. So when I tried to buy a game through Stadia, which does not allow microtransactions without an account, I had to create one - and I did. But when the account was not working, I tried pressing random buttons hoping something would work. I ended up reporting myself (yeah, I know, pretty stupid of myself) and now have my account limited permanently. I called PayPal, and they said that they would fix this problem in 24 hours. But I sent them a file of my mother's driver's license when I had to attach a file, so I'm just wondering if that would work. So has this ever happened to you guys? I know this seems somewhat petty considering it is only $10, but I worked for that money and I want it back.
P.S. - I don't understand why they can't lift the ban immediately considering that the caller herself said that I created the account only a couple of hours ago.

The name on drivers license has to match name on the PayPal account so it won’t work. You must also be over 18 to sign up for a PayPal account. PayPal ban accounts for these things. This is for legal reasons. Minors cannot enter into contracts.
They are not going to restore the account if the name in driver’s license don’t match name on the account. There are laws and regulations PayPal has to comply with.
You can call PayPal back and tell them the whole story and see what they are willing to do if anything.
Most minors get their parents to open an account entirely under parent’s name, info and linking parent’s cards and bank account to it for you to use with their permission and supervision. When minor turns 18, they can open their own account (with different email address or swap out the email address they want to use on new account from parent’s account) and then link their own card/bank account to it.
But you submitted your mom’s driver’s license so you have associated your mom’s license to a banned account so she can’t open a account now. Ya’ll don’t know what y’all doin’.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂

Can PayPal just refute and delete the account? Like I explained to them on the phone, it wasn't something I really wanted, I just wanted my card back.
