If you have been told your Paypal account has been permanently limited then Paypal tends to hold any funds for 180 days. This is the same time frame that buyers have to open Paypal disputes.

If no disputes are opened in 180 days then normally you are allowed to withdraw the funds. That is as long as you are over 18, account is in your legal name and the account is registered in the country where you reside.

However you have to wait until you get the email from paypal citing that you are eligible to withdraw those funds.

I’m also very confused similar situation. It’s coming up on 120 days this month and every time I call or message PayPal they say it’s a 120 day wait to get my funds but you seem to keep saying it’s 180.

If its a permanent limitation then it has always been 180 days as that is the time period buyers have to open paypal disputes. So if they do open a dispute then paypal have the funds held in your balance to refund said buyers if they win that dispute.

Actions We May Take if You Engage in Any Restricted Activities

If we believe that you’ve engaged in any of these activities, we may take a number of actions to protect PayPal, its customers and others at any time in our sole discretion. The actions we may take include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Holding the balance in your Balance Account, the balance in your business account, or any money waiting to be claimed through your personal account if you do not have a Balance Account linked to your personal account, for up to 180 days if reasonably needed to protect against the risk of liability or if you have violated our Acceptable Use Policy. The hold may remain in place longer than 180 days according to Court Orders, Regulatory Requirements, or Other Legal Processes.

However if Paypal have told you 120 days then hopefully you will get it sooner.

Tapi bagaimana jika nama akun PayPal dan nama identitas asli berbeda? Apakah saldo tidak bisa diambil untuk selamanya?
