For a while now I have been concerned with how one day I'll have a certain balance and then the next money ends up missing. For the longest I thought someone through PayPal was stealing my money, taking some here and there to possibly go" unnoticed."I've asked a few times and customer service just seems to always want to bring up my activity afterwards and they are not listening to me that it is not the amounts in question and that it still does not add up because I never send out money I haven't had sent in to me if that makes sense...plus I don't have any credit or special allowances or anything so if I do not have the Freaken funds it is going to deny me !! Well I asked again recently and they told me that someone who sent me money and was supposed to send me that money and owed it to me actually turned around and said it was sent to me by someone else without her permission!!! Wondering how many times she's done this to me I got so frustrated and continued trying to escalate this and get my returned money back to me!! I was told they would investigate it and see the IP address where it was sent from and see that it's repeated person sending me money and was authorized and refund me that money and that PayPal was just holding it at the time being. I was excited I was going to at least get some of my money back with this one! Nope nothing ! I got nothing! I went to try to report these amounts again and they either bring up like usual different charges that aren't even relevant to the disputes because they probably can't see the amounts being returned just like I can't or they don't care to look into it for me I don't know what it is but ys not fair at all!! I went to try to open up a new dispute and it won't let me and says it is family and friends and not protected or something so how did she go reporting it like I was shown by an agent if I can't report it?!?! How does that make any damn sense?! So you mean to tell me one of the people in a two party can and one can't report something?! In beyond furious and only God knows how many times she's done this to me and what all she got away with and how many others out there are messed with!I'm so unhappy and treated poorly and no idea what to do they won't help me on PayPal!!

A sender of a friends/family payment can't open a dispute for non receipt of item OR item not received as they have 0 paypal buyer protection.
HOWEVER they can open up a dispute for unauthorised (that means they were hacked and the transaction was not made by them) OR they can do a chargeback via their card issuer (any decision then would be made by that card issuer and not paypal).
Unfortunately if she has had the funds returned to her paypal can't force her to pay you again.
Advice is voluntary.
