Dear PayPal Community,
I hope you’re all doing well.
I find myself in a very difficult and frustrating situation and could really use some advice from those who may have been through something similar.
Recently, a buyer I worked with filed a chargeback for $1500, claiming that the transaction was unauthorized, despite the fact that they personally paid the invoice I sent for services rendered. I have all the evidence, including clear communication and proof of the transaction, which I submitted to PayPal. I was certain this would be enough to resolve the matter in my favor.
Unfortunately, PayPal ruled in the buyer’s favor, and I’ve been advised to reach out to the buyer directly. I’ve tried contacting them multiple times, but they’ve ignored my messages or responded with vague excuses. As a small, independent seller, this fraudulent chargeback has hit me hard, leaving me with a negative balance that I simply cannot afford.
I’m feeling helpless, and I don’t know what more I can do to resolve this. I’m hoping someone in the community can offer guidance or share advice on how to move forward with PayPal or how to deal with such a dishonest buyer. Your support would mean a lot during this difficult time.
Thank you for taking the time to read my post. I truly appreciate any help or suggestions.
Kind regards.

Hello respected community members,
I’m posting here again to seek guidance on how I can resolve this situation. In response to my last post, I received a general answer, but I’m still struggling with how to handle this matter. I would be incredibly grateful for any advice or support, as this illegal chargeback has caused me a great deal of distress and disruption.
Thank you in advance for your help.

This is the last email that i received from the Paypal: We've been working with your buyer's credit card provider to dispute your chargeback case. Unfortunately, the card provider has decided the chargeback in the buyer's favour. While we cannot dispute this transaction any further, we encourage you to contact your buyer directly to reach a resolution.
After that,"I again reached out to PayPal again, providing all relevant details and proof of the situation, explaining that I was scammed through the platform and am seeking a fair resolution. The case status currently shows as 'Under review with buyer's financial institution.' Could you please advise on what steps I should take next? Also, is there a way to obtain the buyer's bank information for further follow-up?"
