My account was hacked this afternoon when I was at work. I have received 5 different emails, one each for every details changed (phone number, email and Password changes ) 1 for a flight ticket transaction with paypal credit worth £970 and the last email with potential unusual activity on my account. I have frozen all linked cards etc… I am posting from a newly created account as I have no access at all to the previous one. What can I do In this scenario? I have contacted paypal on Twitter (X) but no answer yet so I was just wondering. Can’t call either as phone number no longer associated with my previous account and no way to recover at all.

Contact options for each countries Paypal customer services are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.
1. Paypal phones (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, (during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out).
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a private direct message via Social Media on Facebook, Twitter/X, or Instagram pages.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
