I was just charged USD 1 from PPPL LUX-USD-NON CE SINGAPORE CZ on 06-JUL-2024 03:45 AM. If I google it I can see others have been charged the same today and yesterday, does anyone know if this is Paypal or someone else?

I also received two charges last July 5, one for 8.61 and another for 2 of PPPL EU CE USD SINGAPORE, in the bank card statement, but when I log in paypal I see that they are charges from Meta Platforms, Inc. for instagrams advertisement. Apparently it is not a fraud, I think it is an error of Meta Platforms, Inc.

Oh Okay
but what if one doesn't have any advertising via Meta, Facebook or Instagram?
I find it weird that 99.999 % of Paypal 4 in 4 purchases say YOUR own country and PP so why suddenly is one of these
Singapore we all have in common, suddenly, out of the blue?
My charge is still pending and i have locked up the feeding credit card for now.
Whatever the errors are it affects people Worldwide, different countries, hence difference currencies?

Just looked at my bank account (US Bank) tonight and saw 4 separate charges from from "Pppl Singapore Usd Ce Singapore"
Transaction for $665.46 on Jul 4
Transaction for $42.12 on Jul 4
Transaction for $486.76 on Jul 5
Transaction for $42.07 on Jul 5
I absolutely have not made any of these transactions and I'm so confused. Convinced this is some kind of fraud but I'm very confused as to how that could've happened, I've gone over all of my transactions in the past few weeks and there is NOTHING in my paypal history (all accounts) that shows these transactions.
BEYOND frustrated right now, I'm out $1,300 and I can't do anything until the pending charges post.

Is there any chance that you have ordered something from SEcret Lair (Magic the Gathering) long time ago?
I also got charged 99,98 EUR from PPPL EU CE EUR SINGAPORE but it actually matches the Mail from Wizards of the Coast saying that my Secret Lair order from months ago will be charged to by payment method and it's the same amount. It is normal that the charge 1 EUR or USD when you place the order and some time later they charge the whole amount before shipping.
I would like to know if someone can relate to this?

For me, there is no way it could be for games as I do not subscribe to any game account or play any digital games.
ALSO, after the first fraudulent transaction was made, there were another 3 attempts to make more withdrawals from my WISE debit card. It's a good thing that I had discovered the first fraudulent transaction, reported it to WISE, and immediately froze the card.
WISE says it will take up to 10 days to "investigate this" and even suggested that I had made the transaction and forgotten about it... but NO, this WISE card is for a specific purpose, and recurring subscriptions are not one of them.
All scammers are cursed individuals who will live a lifetime of suffering with ants in their underpants.

Does anyone else have access to your legitimate Paypal account?
I saw Singapore one but in our own countries currency.
It was on pending for many days but once it dropped down into bank statement it was 1/4 of Paypal 4 in 4 purchase I had purchased
on a Saturday 5th July, i found the transaction in legitimate Paypal activity along with payment contract.
So if you are the Paypal account holder someone else is sharing your account as you cannot add someone else's bank accounts for payments in
paypal if another has registered those details.

My PayPal account has not been used for more than 2 years. I checked the PayPal transaction log... absolutely NIL activity. So NIL that when I tried to contact PayPal to dispute the debit card transaction, they wouldn't even entertain the call.
What's there to check if you have had no transactions? This is not our problem, basically.

I faced the same too. I tried to link my new card to PayPal and I was expecting to get 4 digit code in my baking statement to confirm the card. Instead of that I was charged with 1,50 eur (the same amount should be charged by PayPal in order to confirm my card) but there is no 4 digit code come to into my statement. It says PPPL LUX-EUR-NON CE SINGA next to this transaction. PayPal says they do not have any relation to this charge and I should ask my bank about it. The amount and date are the same when I tried to link my card. This is absolutely weird.
