Anyone else get the brushoff from paypal when they mess up??

Ever since the 2 point login started I have been glad that only I can spend my money, however in the past 5 days 6 payments of £22.85 have been taken from my account and given to SKREAM via some shopto.net, do a search on google and you will find this is very common. and when opening a case as normal I get the standard response from payapal "Thank you for reporting this case. After our review, we found that certain transactions weren't unauthorised and hence weren't eligible for Buyer Protection." How much more unothorised can it be!!!! and dont even get the chance to dispute the response. To make matters worse paypal wont let me delete my bank details as there are 3 x £22.85 about to be deducted again..

Any advise on this matter would be appreciated.

Hi @DazTheGas,

Welcome to the community and thank you for your post.

I am sorry to hear what has happened. I know this must be concerning. Based on what you have explained, it sounds like this payment was part of an automatic payment. When you make a payment with some merchants, they will sign you up for an automatic payment. This means they can charge you for their services without you having to enter your details each time. Please follow the steps here to cancel any automatic payments you don't use.

Unfortunately, we don't consider automatic payments as unauthorized. This would be why your dispute was denied. I would suggest you contact the merchant directly to request a refund. As they have charged you, they will have the option to issue a refund.

I hope this helps!

Who set up the automatic payment on my fraudulent transaction, I did not, 15 people with the same problem this year, look at Skream limited Google reviews. This seems like a PayPal security breech. My concerns will be posted on all social media websites with PayPal's so called payment protection being non existent.

Yes, took £42.85 from me, refund refused, have emailed a complaint. Skream Google reviews says it all, 15 similar issues so far this year, all refunds refused by PayPal. Think they have a security breech, or someone on the inside leaking accounts in my opinion. I won't stop until I am refunded
