I booked a flight with booking.com but the price went up as I booked the flight by over £200 ! I called them up and they said it's what they do and if I want to cancel it, it'll cost £300 !! I have opened a case but the flight is in two days time..........

Paypal covers items not received + items received but not as described, unfortunately they do not cover buyer remorse so may be best to try the company you purchased from or travel insurance?

You can try a paypal dispute if you want to anyway, checkout the link.

It's not that it's buyers remorse.  Its that the price went up as I was confirming the payment through paypal.  I did not intend to spend that much money.  I don't see how they can change the price during the final part of the transaction.
But yeah, thanks for the advice, I have opened a case but the flight comes before they will resolve it so I'm not sure what to do now....

The final price would have been there before you clicked to PAY via paypal.

So if you saw the final price was not what you thought it would be then you need not have paid surely?

Good luck with the dispute, hope you opened the correct one?

Yeah it was 580 ish but paypal wanted me to confirm payment through the app.  i confirmed it and the price just jumped £ 200 as I did and I couldnt stop it going through.  Immediately called booking.com who said it can happen but they cant do anything about it but cancel it for a £ 300 fee.

I think I did!
