paypal holding my funds for 180 days !!!!

absolultey destroyed by paypal !!!

i bought a bulk load of digital software from an outside source , i listed them on ebay , sold about 40 % of them ,

buyers all paid by paypal , i literally sent the games after 5 mins of received payment ......

i went to withdraw the funds ( from my verified paypal account to my linked bank account !!!

withdrawer was reversed and a hold put on my paypal account ........i then phoned paypal and they said it was held just a precaution and i had done nothing wron and to continue to trade on ebay .........( funds would be released in 48 hours !!!!

then a couple of hours my paypal account was frozen for 180 days !!!!

i have over £350 in cleared funds , have sent out £350 worth of software and will not get my money for 180 days !!!!!

this is disgusting as i have done nothing wrong at all , no bad feedback and all buyers have got their purchases .......

you phone paypal they say one thing and the do another ........( even told me to keep seling while account was blobked ......)

what on earth am i supposed to do now ? this seems like fraud to me and im going to have to get a solicitor or even get police involved , no reason has been given for closing my paypal account and keeping my funds , i now have lots of stock sold and lots of stock with no way of selling them , all in all i have lost about £1000 because of paypal .....

Happened to me june 2019 and i still havent been able to withdraw my money. Its only 203pound but its the bloody principle. I am seeking legal advice because customer services are actually shocking with their knowledge and manners.  We should all get together and do a joint Legal battle

Have they released your money yet? I just need to know if anyone got their money back. Please someone say something. I was selling like crazy, I even got an above average rating by eBay. After 20 successful transactions, one buyer requests a refund. They were refunded successfully and just a couple of days later my account was limited permanently for 180 days? What actually happens after the 180 days?

No, They have not released my money even tho MN department of commerce contacted them and told them its illegal to do this.

and since theyve been sued for this before they updated their policy and when you sign up you literally accept that they can steal your money and you cannot sue them!

Bunch of scumbag snakes. PayPal is just a Fraud paradise, their **bleep** policies basically encourage buyers to do Chargebacks, and after a couple chargebacks they lock your account for 6 months “for your security” and use your money to earn interest. I’m sure eBay makes money from this scam too by charging late fees on unpaid invoices too since most people’s funds are paypal they can’t pay their invoice when it gets locked. I’ve made my own website for selling now and have a nice anti PayPal policy written up, with my experience used as an example, hopefully will save a couple thousand people from ever making the mistake of doing business with PayPal. Lowest scum of the earth company.
