I do understand your concern with this. I can assure you, the email you received is not from PayPal. Payment confirmation emails would come from service@paypal.com.
If you were due to provide an item/service for this payment, please do not send the item/service and stop all contact with the buyer. Please remember to never send an item/service until you can see the payment in your PayPal account. Always login to your PayPal account to check.
