last night i made a purchase using paypal. i got charged twice on my bank account, but the merchant only recieved one payment. on my paypal statement it only comes up once. on in my bank statement it clearly shows a duplicate transaction. i filed a dispute but this is not the sellers fault. this was clearly a paypal issue, but it seems theres no easy way to sort it out. thinking about closing my account since paypal is supposed to protect you, not be the one ripping you off. not a happy camper

Hi @sh4rk13y,
Welcome to the PayPal Community. I'm sorry to hear of the duplicate transaction.
If you're only seeing one transaction on your PayPal account, that means only one payment was processed on our end. If the duplicate transaction is reflecting on your bank, it's best to work with your bank.
I hope this information helps!
Thanks,
Tricia
