Hi, just recently bought a physical item through PayPal invoice. Iffy about the transaction and not sure if I got scammed or not. What is there to do after completing/paying for an invoice that is sent to me? I'm pretty sure this transaction has buyer protection, however, just unsure about the whole thing and I'm waiting to see if anything actually gets sent out. I usually buy items through platforms with PayPal integration however I did this one through PayPal on its own. Thank you for any provided info in advance. (unsure of what tags to put btw)

Paypal covers you for non receipt of item OR item received but not as described.
However that protection is not a 100% coverall so its best to go read up on it so you can risk assess your transactions.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

Hey @Slitstore,
Welcome to our community help forum!
Thanks for the help @kernowlass! Yes! Please wait for some more days to get your shipment. To open a dispute, you need to wait at least 7 days for the seller to ship the item to you. If there's no item after the time frame, go ahead and report the transaction in the resolution center. You can learn more about opening a dispute here.
You have 20 days from the date you opened the dispute to resolve it with your seller. If your seller isn't responding or you can't come to a resolution, you can escalate the dispute to a claim, PayPal will review it and decide the outcome. You can always check the status and updates of your dispute at any time in the Resolution Center.
Good luck,
Bindu
