What happens to my paypal account and balance if I do not confirm my identity?

I created an account, received 1 payment and now it is limited. I will not provide my information to Paypal. So my questions are: - will the person who sent me the money be refunded? - what happens to my account in general? - Will it be a problem for me in the future if I do not confirm my identity? I cannot delete my account due to the limitations. Thank you for your help, it is appreciated!

Ask the sender what it says next to the transaction in their paypal account, if pending/unclaimed then they may have a cancel option or it will time out at 30 days. However if completed they may have to open a dispute for non receipt of item to get a refund.

If you don't confirm your paypal account with the information requested then you will no longer be able to use paypal and the account would be permanently limited.
