Unknown pre approved payment

Hi there,can you explain why PayPal can tell me I have a pre approved/,automatic or subscription On my account,and I know I definitely haven't,and then a company takes £979.15 out of my account 4 days BEFORE I decide on payment

Check if you had a subscription set up.
Click on the profile tab (icon next to log out) > Click on payments third option along on the thick blue band top of page > "manage pre-approved payments.''

I have never had a pre approved,automatic or any subscription set upfor payments.This unauthorised payment was taken out of my account on11/12/2022 I had not even been on their site until 15/12/2022 so how canthey take payment when I never saw any methods of payment (which I find unacceptable) so I never pressed any payment method,so to me this is an authorised payment ,how can they take payment when they had no idea what I was going to do,so I think they should return my money.
