Transaction shows in bank account but not PayPal account

I have had money taken from my bank account that is under PayPal Payments DD, however when I have logged into my PayPal account to see what it is for, no corresponding transaction is there. I have seached my regular payments and recent activity but it is not showing up. I contacted the bank and they said to contact PayPal but its not showing so I can't dispute the transaction if I need to!!

I'm sorry to hear about the unrecognized transaction on your bank account. Anytime a purchase is made through PayPal, we'll email you a receipt. I recommend checking your email to see if a purchase was made that may have been processed as a guest checkout. A guest checkout is when someone makes a purchase but is not logged into their PayPal account. You can learn how to report an issue with a guest checkout on our Help Center: I have a problem with my PayPal transaction, but I can't find it on my PayPal account. What do I do? If you don't find a receipt, I'd ask any family and friends if they've made a purchase recently. If you still don't have any luck, you can contact Customer Support by clicking 'Contact' at the bottom of any PayPal page.
