I received a strange text message when getting access confirmation message. It was titled "support-qy6u@787..." with the information "71pgsmg PayPal's: Unexpected". Following that was a link to vipmail.cloud... Is this for real or is something very nasty going on here?

Don’t click any links in suspicious messages, emails, and texts.
Report them:
How do I spot and report a fake, fraudulent, or phishing PayPal email or website?
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂

Thanks for the link. I sent an email to PayPal phishing with appropriate information. In looking at some previous Txt messages I realized that about a month ago I also received two suspicious messages when attempting to long into my account. They said that my account had been "restricted". It obviously was not. I had deleted these from my iPhone but not from my iPad so I was able to determine that today's event was not a one time occurrence. It appears that somehow when I request a Txt confirmation message, that is being intercepted and an additional phishing message is being sent.

I submitted the information to PayPal security and received a response back that they are looking into it. I have not received a confirmation that they found anything. But I did not receive any secondary Txt message when I logged in this time, so maybe it was fixed.
