Someone using my email

This morning I received a confirmation email that someone had created a PayPal.me link using an email address that is mine. It’s my primary Gmail address but with a dot in the name, which is still my email. The other person should not have been able to confirm that email address. I couldn’t find anything in the help Center.

I appreciate how concerning this must be for you! Someone may have mistakenly added it to their account when they signed up, either mistyping it or intentionally entering an email that wasn’t theirs. 

Please see the following for steps on how to report this to the relevant team: Why am I receiving emails from PayPal when I don’t have an account?

Once this is escalated using the steps above, this will be reviewed by the relevant team! You can always contact our customer service team too if you are concerned. To contact our customer service team, click 'Help' or 'Contact' at the bottom of any PayPal Webpage.

Hello PayPal Support team:

Someone has used my Gmail address to create a Paypal profile in the UK. This is NOT their Gmail; I have SOLE access to this Gmail account and NEVER CONFIRMED to verify the email address.  

I have tried several times to rectify this situation with PayPal, however, I am unable to contact/log in to PayPal UK to resolve this. Contacting Paypal via social media has also been unsuccessful.

PLEASE allow me to delete or reclaim my Gmail address from PayPal UK. I do NOT wish for this email or any transactions associated with the UK profile.
