I ordered shoes from Sports Direct and they are sending the wrong size and won't change the order. Payment is pending but PayPal are not interested.

If the payment completes then you can open a dispute for non receipt of item OR item received but not as described if needed via the paypal resolution centre.
It happens. Hit the "Login to Ask the community" button to create a question for the PayPal community.
