SEPA DIRECT DEBIT fraudalent transaction from our Revolut bank account

I have been on/off for 2 days with support on Revolut and on PayPal. There was a direct debit from our bank account in 3 months 7 transactions netting roughly 200€.

Ive got transaction statements from revolut that money was deposited to FR7630004021180001013711792 (PayPal bank account) but on you guys on PayPal just say. We cant find transactions in your account nor they cant be anywhere else.

So your direct debit mandate took money and then you say "we dont have it".

On the other hand, we are a business client, we have 10s of cases that customer filled a claim that transaction was fraudalent, and we always loose those cases - taking all the risk for PayPal.

I just noticed these transactions I don't remember doing. And I got searching. Came to this horror fest. So more people lose money?!!? I blocked the transfer in time. Not a dime until I know what or who is taking money from me. After further investigation turns out I did do this transaction myself. The problem is that if I don't memorise amounts and where I payed them some payment to a french bank will look suspicious. Insufficient info from my bank. Amount and account number. If it said PayPal then I would have logged in and seen what the payment was for. Sorry my bad. And I guess the rest here are merchants getting charge backs. I stopped that a long time ago when I saw a lot of people ordering something and then start some nonsense to get their money back. Because why not. They always win.

I am having the same problem, each month 15 euros and I have no subscription of that amount.

Same account number. Does anyone from Paypal can react and stop this scam ???

@Piccaya,

On some occasions the agreement might have been set up outside of your PayPal account.

You will need to contact the merchant as they might have your details on file. They can cancel the agreement on their side.

We can also review your account if you contact us directly over the phone.
