How do I get a refund for a completed payment

Hey. Hopefully this is the correct topic for my question. I oredered a pair of shoes from some web store. When the payment redirected me to PayPal it said its a donation. Is there any way for me to get my money back in case it's a scam? Also confirmation mail for my order went to spam on my Gmail account.

Unfortunately buyer protection does not cover 'donations'.

Yeah my ticket got denied sadly. That really sucks on my end 😞
