Platform Purple charge?

I recently had a charge to "Platform Purple" charged to my account. I never authorized this charge, however, the Resolution Center rejected my dispute because it was an "authorized transaction."
Has anyone else experienced this problem? How do I appeal this decision?

After reading several messages I was able to determine that my charge was for an annual fee for a daily walking tape. I contacted the merchant and explained that I had received a PP message and that I wanted to cancel my subscription and also asked for a refund. Within about 15 minutes I received a reply stating that my subscription was cancelled and that a refund to PP was on its way.

This is a scam. i got a text message to say that i have missed my delivery. i had a link to IPS which had a similar logo to UPS. I actually had a delivery planned from UPS but think that this was legit, i entered my address details again. it then asked for £1.50 re delivery which i thought was odd, but paid it anyway. The creditcard statement said purplecharges. i called the bank, cancelled my credit card, and launched a fraud investigation (HSBC credit cards). The expayment would have benn £4x.xx odd recuring charge. THIS IS A SCAM. TAKE ACTION IMMEDIATELY.

This happened to me. I called Amex, which reversed the charge. But even they said it was an "installment." I asked them to point out to me the previous charge, if this was an installment, which obviously they couldn't. So call your credit card or bank and have them reverse it. And Paypal, if you are reading this, shame on you. You need to do better.

We are a video platform company with hundreds of great clients (you can see some on our home page here: https://platformpurple.com), and we operate websites and apps for our clients under their own brands. Usually, charges show up on customers' statements as the client brand, but occasionally the charge shows up as "Platform Purple."We were never able to resolve this issue with our payment processors, so we added a notification on the checkout screen that "the charge could show up as Platform Purple," but most people are eager to enjoy their purchase and probably don't see it.
If anyone sees this thread and has any question about a Platform Purple charge, please email <removed> and we will get the matter resolved swiftly.
I apologize for any confusion, we are currently in the process of switching to Braintree for all payment processing and hope this resolves this issue in the future.
