Paid wrong email. It was the same name as my daughter’s wrong address.

I sentMoney Accidentally to someone with the same name as my daughter but the wrong email. I emailed them for reimbursement but have not heard anything. When I tried to report it it doesn’t give an option for the correct problem I’m having. So I don’t know how to report it

Did you pay using the friends/family option?

If you did then you have 2 options.

1. Reach out to the recipient OR request paypal customer services to reach out to them to request a refund, however Paypal can't force them to do so if you used the f/f option as that is a 'gift' payment.

2. If you funded the payment via a credit card then see if your card issuer will chargeback for you BUT they may decline for the same reason.

If however you paid using goods/services then post back for alternate advice.
