Negative balance because of Disput

Hello ,Few days ago scammer started disput on sent money and i got negative balance on my paypal with amount of 236 dollars , Both case is under investigation still but paypal resolution center says 28 december of resolve time because disput is between paypal and sender's local bank , How many days ihave to fill my balance with money to close negative balance ? , because right now i got no money and i dont want to get in trouble. All money was sent via family and friends , Sender's bank refunded all money and that's why is dispute between Paypal and sender's bank . and what you think ? will paypal lose dispute and am gonna lose my money ? and how many days i got from negative balance to fill it ? P.S i didn't sold anything , transaction was from my online friend but as i see he was just fake friend and nothing else.

Its against Paypal rules to accept a family / friends payment for selling goods and you risk your Paypal account being limited if you do so.

A buyer would not be able to open a Paypal dispute for non-receipt of item or item not as described as they would have no Paypal buyer protection.

However they can still open a dispute for an unauthorised transaction OR do a chargeback (via their card issuer) and you may well lose as you would have no Paypal seller protection. (which is what has happened with your dispute).

Not sure how long paypal will give you to clear the negative balance before passing it on to a collection agency whilst a dispute is still ongoing, best ask customer services?
