Need help with buyer scam attempt, making fraudulent “goods not as described” claim

Hi. I sold a rare, expensive pair of sneakers to a buyer via invoice. The buyer now claims that he received the “incorrect size” and unsuccessfully attempted to contact me. The buyer never attempted to contact me. Prior to the sale, I posted pics of the shoe showing its size. I listed the size in the description. On the invoice, I also listed the shoe size. I said I wasn’t accepting refunds, and that by purchasing, the buyer was agreeing to everything stated on the invoice. When packing the shoe, I took a bunch of pics, and even video, including showing the size label on the shoe box and size tags inside each shoe. I presented all this evidence to PayPal and STILL today, PayPal sided with the buyer and is going to let the buyer ship back for a full refund. By the way, the buyer first blocked me on Instagram (where we communicated before the deal), and has now deleted his account. This is an obvious scam. The buyer will likely ship me back a completely different pair of shoes, or nothing at all. I need help. How can I convince PayPal to change its mind, side with me and close this case in my favor? I did everything right and am still being punished, not to mention scammed out of an expensive item and the money I stood to make from it.

Accept the return. If you received something else, appeal the case as buyer abuse as per:

How do I report buyer abuse? - Paypal

If you cannot find the appeal button, call customer service to appeal.

Thx! I reached out to PayPal on Twitter to see if I can appeal or something. I don’t want to accept the return if I don’t have to. I’m hoping PayPal will change its decision.
