I am having difficulty getting limitations lifted from my account. I have been with paypal for over 23 years without a problem and do not understand this recent request for very private info. Anyone else have this problem?
PayPal is required by law to know more about their customers. They don’t have the pleasure of doing business with us in person, hence the request for documents only the account holder has to verify that we are who we say we are.
I was not notified of the limitations in the first place and how is it that only after 23 years of flawless buying they suddenly need info that would allow them to steal my identity. I am 74 years old and the cfo of a multimillion dollar company and to ask for my drivers license AND my ss number seems over the top.
