Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community Forum! I can understand the frustration with syncing your contacts and only seeing a few of them. I'll be happy to help!
I believe that the system only shows a few initially, but if you begin typing the name, username, email, or phone number (whichever is listed in the contact information that was synced), you should see them pop up. Can you test that? The difference in this case would be that they would not pop up if they were not synced.
