I need help escalating a dispute to a claim, but the option is gone. Help!

I need help escalating a dispute to a claim. I do not see the option at all and have tried for several days. I am about to contact my CC because I am having the most difficult time getting someone on the phone. I have logged on and off the site several times and I still do not see the option to escalate a dispute to a claim.

Is it 7 days since you paid?
Which dispute did you open?
How long since you opened it?
Suggest you don't jump to your c.c. yet or you won't be able to file with paypal again as they close any dispute/claim if you file with your c.c. company.
Advice is voluntary.

I understand that you wish to escalate the dispute to a claim. If you have filed a disputé with PayPal, you can escalate to a claim any time after 7 days and within 20 calendar days from the date the dispute was opened. A dispute will automatically close if it isn't escalated to a claim within 20 days. If you're trying to escalate within the given period of time and not finding an option to escalate kindly try to clear cache and cookies or try using a different browser or device to see if that works. If not, please reach out to our concern team through the available contact options on our website. Since having difficulties getting advisors on the phone, you may reach out to us through Facebook private messages or Twitter direct messages.
