Someone send me money. But I didn't receive. Then I checked my email, and paypal sent me a email that "You received a payment of $800.00 USD from (Carolyn [removed]) but we have a problem crediting your account with that amount, because the status of your account is not a business user which makes your account limit as this amount is above your limit. We won’t be able to credit your account until your account limit has been expanded." Then after I make my account to business user. I didn't receive any received money status. Then I checked my bank account section, it shows that your bank account is not verified, then I confirm my bank account, it's shows that PayPal sent me 2 deposits. But I didn't received any deposits. So how to Confirm my bank account and add money to my PayPal? Please help me.

Hello @Piyush2069 ,

Welcome to PayPal Community Forum and thank you for posting here!

I understand that you're worried about receiving money from someone. Based on the information that you have shared, it seems like this is a fake email. In order to receive money on your PayPal account, we would not ask you to upgrade the account to business or the type of account you have. If the account is eligible to receive money and the email address is confirmed then, you will get the money hassle-free. To verify if the message you received is really from PayPal, log in to your PayPal account securely by typing www.paypal.com into your browser's address bar and go to your Resolution Center. Your Resolution Center will contain information on any account issues we may have contacted you about receiving money. If you do not see such notifications, please forward them to phishing@paypal.com. If you provided personal, or financial information or tend to click on any links, please change your PayPal password and security questions at your earliest convenience by following the steps in the link. You may want to first run a virus scan, just to make sure that you didn't pick something up from clicking any links. You can also read more about how to spot fake emails in this help center article

I hope this information helps,

Ayesha
