I am sorry to hear you are receiving secuirty codes from PayPal, but you are not trying to login. I know this must be concerning.
As long as you have not provided anyone with the codes in these messages, then your account would not have been accessed. These codes would be required to successfully login to a PayPal account.
Just to be safe, I would suggest you change your PayPal password and secuirty questions. This can be done by following the steps here.
