Disputes = Total Amount Held and Then Total Amount Reversed, Deducted Twice

My customer filed a dispute on a $955 transaction. At the time the dispute was filed, the total ($955 incl transaction fee) was deducted form my account. A few weeks later, the dispute could not be resolved so Paypal reversed another $955 (incl transaction fee) as well as a $15 dispute fee. This resulted in a total of $1925 being deducted from my account. I had dealt with this very same illegal activity several years ago by Paypal and ended up closing my account as a result. Why and how does Paypal continue to get away with these double deductions?

I have attempted to contact PayPal via the contact link at the bottom of the page per your request. Unfortunately there is no option to talk to a human being via that link. I "left a message" via the virtual assistant to have customer support contact me but of course that never happened. I have also attempted to call a few times but no one picks up the phone.

I have a timeline of this transaction that clearly shows a $955 deduction on 12/18/22 when a customer fled a dispute. The funds were deducted from my account at that time. Then on 12/28 the dispute was closed and another $955 was deducted from my account and sent to the customer. The total of the transaction ($955) was deducted from my account twice. As mentioned in my previous post, I went through this same issue with a previous PayPal account and was forced to close that account due to double deductions by PayPal. It looks like this is still goin on unfortunately.

My company brings in well over 7 figures per year. This PayPal account may or may not be turned back on in our system pending the outcome of this issue. Unfortunately there is no way to contact PayPal so I feel certain that this issue will not be resolved and we will be forced to close this PayPal account.

For obvious reasons this issue still has not been resolved or even replied to from paypal. I created a message in my message center asking why this amount was deducted twice from my account. I received a reply from a paypal representative informing me that the message had been answered and they immediately closed the conversation.

I find it tough to believe that I am the only victim of this double deduction/theft of funds by paypal. As mentioned earlier I closed a previous paypal account solely for this reason. If a customer files a dispute and it goes unanswered or cannot be resolved before the deadline, paypal will re-deduct the amount from your account when the dispute closes.

As mentioned in my message to paypal via the message center that went unanswered, i really do not want to have to get my attorney involved because he is extremely expensive, and he is adamant about petitioning a class-action lawsuit against paypal.... for this issue. Before this evolves into a major legal situation, I would like to see paypal simply return the second deduction to may account.

This is my 5th time requesting a resolution to this issue. To this date I haven't even received a simple reply. Im giving you one last chance here, please reply before I am forced to send this to my attorney, again.
