Dispute issue as sender

As a sender, customer bought items paid via paypal and goods were shipped on Saturday morning 1st class as promised.  Previous goods were shipped earlier in the week and arrived within a day however no promise was made to customer that this would be the case.  I have provided proof of postage and customer is heavily disputing the missing goods - it is now Wednesday so 3 working days later.

Can someone advise best practice for this?  He is demanding his money back as goods were required for tonight however is this my issue if Royal Mail have failed to deliver within a day?  Do I raise a dispute, does he?  Can someone help?

If the buyer opens a dispute for non receipt of goods then as long as you have trackable proof of delivery of the item to the buyer then you should win.

If you sent first class with 0 tracking then unlikely you would win and the buyer may end up with item + refund.

I have receipt with postcode and house number, date of shipment and tracking number.  Would this count as proof for the case?

If you have a tracking number that shows online somewhere delivery of the item to the buyer then yes as long as you sent to her paypal registered address at the time of payment.
