Dispute Claim PayPal auto closed my case

Hi Guys,

I bought some clothing online. when I got it. it was completely different than the one on website. I immediately dispute PayPal claim. Seller cannot be contacted by email or phone. Not responded via PayPal. Despite claim I thought it automatic favor to buyer without escalating to PayPal. Now paypal closed my case and cannot escalate. 

 

Anyone gone thru same situation. I am really needing your valuable advice.

A dispute is for negotiation between you and the seller, if no solution found or no response from the seller then you have up to 20 days to escalate the dispute to a claim which is when Paypal get involved.

If you don't escalate the dispute to a claim within 20 days then it will unfortunately auto close. Sadly you can't re-open it or open a second one for the same transacion.

However if you funded your Paypal payment via a credit card then you could try a chargeback via your card issuer?

PayPal has not helped me at all!! Same thing happened to me. I’ve tried to contact the seller several times because the clothes I received were crap! I even called them and explained the whole thing. She reopened my claim and I just received an email telling me the ruled against me. I’m VERY frustrated. Lesson learned! NEVER order clothes from China!! I didn’t know they were from there because they weren’t cheap! Good luck! Sorry I didn’t help you much!
