Hi Paypal community,

I am typing this from my second account (which works fine). My other account has been restricted after I received about $130 for a refund the other day. However, I cant access it and need to prove my identity.

I can't do that. I was 15, not 18, when I made the account, so the birthdate I put in was incorrect.

How can I resolve this? Can I ever receive that money again?

Many thanks in advance,

User 🙂

Hope you are over 18 now because you cannot have a PayPal account as a minor. Minors cannot enter into contracts.

Contact customer service under the old account and admit the account was opened while under age. You were receiving a refund and what do they advise to get the money. The old account will be permanently limited:

https://www.paypal.com/au/smarthelp/contact-us

Click “Message Us” or “Call Us” option on the bottom.

Or reach out to PayPal at Facebook or Twitter:

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
