Hello. I sent a payement to someone but the person was a scammer. How can I cancel the payement.

If you paid as goods and services, open the transaction in PayPal, click “Report a problem”, then click “item not received”.
If you paid as friends and family, you’re not covered by buyer protection. You may dispute it through your bank or credit card instead but no guarantees since you essentially sent a ‘gift’ payment and doing this may adversely affect your PayPal account in the form of a negative balance or poor account performance with internal security blocks so that when you try to make a transaction, you get error messages.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂

Thank you for your reply. I guess I should accept that the person will not refund me.
