I am looking to buy a rtx 3080ti of Gumtree, the seller says he can deliver the item using fedex next day delivary uk and we can use paypal buyers protection, does this sound legit?

The terms the seller is presenting doesn’t seem too off, yet. Do you think you need overnight shipping though? That might be to charge you more to sweeten their pot if they want to pull the fake tracking scam on you.

Just send payment as goods and services. Or ask for a PayPal invoice. Both of these result in coverage by PayPal buyer protection program.
