If I send money to a bank account through PayPal am I covered by buyer protection if item doesn’t arrive?

To clarify, you can only send money to a PayPal account for a purchase, not directly to a bank account…at least not without breaking some PayPal Policies. Once recipient received payment in their PayPal account, recipient may manually transfer the money to their linked bank account.
If you send payment under goods and services or “Paying for an item or service” option, your transaction may be eligible for PayPal Buyer protection.
