Attempted Fraud ? Anyone ever get a code when they haven’t requested one ?

Review your paypal account.  I just had this happen on 12/8 and then got a phone call requesting that I enter the code.  I had an unauthorized charge against ebay and then a debit card added to my account.  Change your password, ensure that two factor is enabled.

Thank you .. nothing else has been done .. I did change my password so hopefully nothing does happen

Someone requested my email to make a payment but made out that I would be sent an authorisation code I should send them as protection for their payment to me. This is not the case and is sent allows them change your password and access your account.
