Incredible operation. The crooks have taken the goods and got a refund. Now the scammer asks me to pay the handling fee charged by paypal. Miraculously PayPal actually asked me for payment. The processing fee charged by PayPal requires me to pay a scammer. Are you collaborating with scammers? God bless PayPal.

WAS IT THIS SCAM?

They encourage you to accept a direct Paypal payment and may ask you to send the item internationally.
No funds or activity of the transaction shows in your Paypal account and any emails may go into your junk/spam folders.

You will get/got a "fake" email that looks as though it is from paypal.....it isn't because they don't have a Paypal account and have no intention of paying you.
It will say the buyer has paid ...you won't have been paid.
They will tell you that the payment is released when you provide paypal with a tracking/shipping number......this won't happen.

Once you have become a victim they may try again with more fake Paypal emails with other reasons that you must send them a payment for custom fees / to verify, / handling fee, expand or upgrade an account.

Paypal NEVER tell you to send an item before the payment is showing in your paypal account.
Paypal do not tell you to send trackable, they advise it for selling protection but it is not compulsory.
Paypal never tell you to pay upfront handling fees.

Delete any emails and ignore the scammers.

It's in PayPal's internal letter. Not a scam. The buyer said that his credit card was stolen. A refund was initiated. He has already received the money, but he initiates a chargeback again. Because he was charged a handling fee by PayPal, and now he wants me to pay the handling fee. And PayPal also created the case. It's a hilarious act. We all know the buyer is a scammer and now he has taken my item, got his money back and wants me to pay the handling fee charged by PayPal. Don't you think this is a joke?

The chargeback process is external to the PayPal system. The buyer's credit card issuer grants its members specific consumer protection which PayPal has no authority to replace or reduce. If a PayPal user initiates a chargeback with their credit card company Paypal have no way of stopping the claim.

If the card issuer grants the case in the buyer's favour, Paypal review the transaction on your PayPal account to see if it is eligible for Seller Protection.

If you have a small claims court in your country then nothing to stop you trying to get a claim made against them if you have all the proof BUT if their card was stolen then you may not have a lot of luck, worth trying maybe?
