Check your automatic payments with these merchants. You or someone with access to your PayPal account may have signed up for free trial that required to give your PayPal account or made a purchase and agreed to set up billing agreement profile in your account and then let the trial lapse or forget to cancel/deactivate the billing agreement.
“An automatic payment authorizes a merchant to charge you whenever you make a purchase on their website without signing in to your PayPal account. This is something that's set up on the first checkout with the merchant. The terms of the authorization will be available in your PayPal account.”
- Go to Settings.
- Click the Payments tab.
- Click Manage Automatic Payments.
- Click the merchant.
- On this page, you can cancel the automatic payment and change the backup funding source.
If you don’t recognize these transactions, report them as unauthorized in the Resolution Center. You might have to request a deeper review of the cases by customer services if the system auto closes it as not unauthorized since they are billing agreements.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
